Edenbridge - The Chronicles of Eden

A 2 disc set featuring 3 new songs, some rarities and bonus tracks on one disc with the other a “best of” compilation voted on by fans worldwide. A great overview of this female fronted Austrian symphonic metal group! For fans of Within Temptation or Nightwish.

Egypt Central - Egypt Central (self titled)

Originating from Memphis, TN (not Egypt) this highly emotive, overly pimped and polished nu-ish metal is undeniably very hard rock radio friendly, but they appear to have sacrificed their integrity and sold their musical souls to get there. Yawn!

Endeverafter - Kiss or Kill

I had no idea that this kind of music was still being produced! Big hair with even bigger egos. Cocky, cheesy, dick in mouth metal/hard rock. I say “Whatever-after” is a better name.

EOTO - Razed

Funky swirls of patterned rhythms bump and repel through electronic sound-scapes that fly free with an air of jam-tronic completion and trip-hop contemplation. Jason Hann and Michael Travis (of STRING CHEESE INCIDENT) are the synthesizing musical musculature that weaves this craft to consciousness. Live, they are 100% improvisational, creating a unique experience nightly.

8889 - Zoology

Singer/songwriter styled alt/indie rock from Madison. This follow-up to their MAMA winning debut album finds a well-defined, well-thought through chunk of moody alt music. For my ear candy I prefer a bit more intensity and cleverness.

Electric Six - Flashy

Elaborating on their past success as bratty retro rock rebels. This time the songs manage to evoke a smoky club filled with crazy kinksters where certain selections come off fresher or staler than others. A mixed bag here.

Exciter - Thrash Speed Burn

Refusing to give up or modify their style, these Canadian thrashers have charged up their neck muscles for another go around. Their creative recipe remains mostly unchanged from days gone by: aggressive lyrics taunted by various “evils”  backed with anthemia choruses played over stereotypical thrash grooves.

James Eisele - Coming Into A New Age

Sly, cool, and swinging jazz temptations are blown about by the blues guitar backbone this artist is known for. At some points I think I am listening to some forgotten Burl Ives record or something.

Eisbrecher - Sünde

Not all German industrial metal bands sound like Rammstein, but these folks sure do. The unyielding throbbing metal marches form a platform for the foreboding deep German vocals that are barked with a crisp snap.

Epochate - Chronicles Of A Dying Era

More than just a collection of songs, these electronic doom prophets have delivered an evolving cinematic style landscape of bleak synthetic orchestral ministrations. Foreboding vocals are fed into this strained and grainy industrial view of reality while propelled to epic, dynamic and tragic trajectories.

Evil Cowards - Covered in Gas

This quirky dirky mind candy is the musical undertaking of “Electric Six’s” ineffable Tyler Spencer in conjunction with
William Bates from “Fall On Your Sword.” Impetuous and compulsive these 13 beguiling tracks display cantankerous rock with ample swagger, sway and quixotic lyrics.

Electric Six - Kill

Another fun frolic into musical flamboyancy from these Detroit veterans of kitsch-n-roll. Brashly and boldly re-spinning their old disco punk methodology into a wisened vision of musical maturity results in Electric Six kicking ass again and again!
