Happy 14th Birthday Maximum Ink! This March issue starts our 15th year of publishing Maximum Ink. We thank you, the reader, and you the advertiser, for our continued success. I would also like to extend a special thanks to our delivery personnel around the state.
Maximum Ink is based in Madison and distribute in many places around the state of Wisconsin including Milwaukee, Green Bay, Fox Valley, Wausau, La Crosse, Janesville, Waukesha and many more!

BOMBLASTICA 2010: Get ready for Maximum Ink’s 14 year anniversary party. Free beer and free Yahara Bay Vodka tasting at 9pm, NO COVER and special guests are Bobaflex, Downstate, Black With Envy, and Lot 74. Make sure to get there early as I’m sure this will be packed! A special thanx goes out to Randy Hawke and JJO, you guys rock! Get the party started at 9pm at the Annex in Madison on Friday, March 26th.

IAN CHALGREN: Welcome artist Ian Chalgren who has come on board to spice up our covers. His debut illustration last month with Blackie Lawless of W.A.S.P. was a big hit, and his number two is Maynard James Keenan who is coming to Milwaukee’s Pabst Theater in March with his band Puscifer. You may know Maynard as the singer of Tool or A Perfect Circle, but you may not know that he’s a wine vineyard owner. He loves his wine. I can’t wait for number three! Good work.
Adventures With Mikaia and Maitreya: Congratulations to Max Ink writer Andrew Frey who not only has the cover story with Puscifer this month, but also enjoyed the birth of his son Mikaia Orion Frey who was born on 2/10/2010 at 6:44pm. He weighed a healthy 7lb 10oz.
And another baby congrats to Pachyderm Studio owner Matt Mueller and Renata who welcome their son Maitreya Madison Mueller born 2/25/2010 02:42 am. I’m still in shock! It’s like a frickin’ maternity ward around here! lol
