Family owned for over 60 years, Christy’s Landing has endured as one of the most popular bar & restaurants in the Madison area since Dennis O. Christenson began the Waubesa Beach Club in 1936. Times have changed from the days of the push pole skiffs and oar only fishing boats, but the laid back, friendly feeling of the lake and neighborhood has been a mainstay of Madison ever since.
Dennis’ son, Richard, continued the legacy of Christy’s when he purchased the bar from his father in the early 1970’s. In the mid 1990’s, his children purchased the business to keep the family business going for generations to come.
The Christenson family invites you to enjoy the beauty and recreation of Lake Waubesa and the other wonderful waterways of southern Wisconsin. Food MenuThere are many ways to get to Christy’s Landing ... we’re just minutes from Madison.
From Madison and north exit the West Beltline at the South Towne exit (W. Broadway), go south on Raywood Road, turn left on Moorland Road, Moorland Road turns south and becomes Lake Farm Road. Turn left on Alma Road, turn right on Waubesa Avenue.
Also from Madison exit the West Beltline at Hwy 14/MM exit south, take McCoy Road exit to Hwy MM. Turn left on Goodland Park Road, turn left on Lake Farm Road, turn right on Alma Road, turn right on Waubesa Avenue.
From Stoughton, Oregon, Verona and south take MM north from Oregon, turn right on Goodland Park Road, turn left on Lake Farm Road, turn right on Alma Road, turn right on Waubesa Avenue.
