Atwood Summerfest is an annual fundraising event for the Goodman Community Center on Madison’s east side on the last Saturday in July.

Atwood Summerfest is one of the last rites of summer in Madison, Wisconsin.
Now in it's 29th year, Atwood Summerfest has been attended by countless thousands at the east side location starting at Schenk's Corners and ending at the Barrymore Theater.

2002 was a game changing year as the festival made changes for success
in the future. Professional staging and PA Systems were brought in for the Rock Stage and Blues Stage and bolstered by local businesses Maximum Ink music magazine, Ale Asylum, Harmony Bar & Grill and Capital Brewery. That attracted the city's best talent from VO5 and Magic 7 to Lucas Cates as well as national touring acts like the Dead String Brothers, Beatallica, and Canned Heat.

From Milwaukee: Take I94 west to HWY 30 (at the intersection of 90-94, just keep going straight), take HWY 30 to “State Capital Exit”, follow E. Washington to First Street, left on First Street to Winnebego Street, right on Atwood.
