September 2021

This episode features an interview with Cameron & Ellie Kennedy. The world traveling musicians are organizing a fundraising concert in Madison to support the needs of more than 8,000 Afghan Refugees currently at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin.

The “Benefit Concert for Afghan Refugees in Wisconsin” is happening at Orton Park on Madison’s east side on Saturday, September 25, 2021 starting at 2:30 pm.

A half-dozen bands and artists are set to take part, and though the music is free, the couple talks about how they hope you’ll help make a difference with your donations and why it is so important to them.

Cameron and Ellie also share a sample of a song, specifically for the concert, and tell me about some of their other heart-warming projects, like the International Peace Orchestra and the Kindness Academy.

Can’t make it to the benefit concert? A GoFundMe page is set up for direct donations at:
