"If the disclosure is true, it's breathtaking. The president is revealed as the leaker in chief." - Representative Jane Harman of California, the senior Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee

"I tell you, he's President George Bush, not King George Bush. This is not the system of government we have and that we fought for," Sen. Russell Feingold, D-Wisconsin:  The Associated Press.

"I've never supported him and certainly would never vote for him. I think he's a fool and a man without forethought. I have no confidence in him whatsoever. I think he's an idiot, I really do. Andrew Frey covers an eclectic spectrum of musical styles. His knowledge of the heavier musical genres is extensive, but recently he has also been focusing on world beat, jam, techno, and experimental forms of music. Bands like Opeth, Cephalic Carnage and Lamb of God may be played in the same musical rotation as Sound Tribe Sector 9, Melt Banana, Frank Zappa, Tubring, Jaap Blonk, Yat Ka, Lotus, or Ekova (to name a very few).

Andrew started writing and shooting photos in the late 80s. Located in Denver at the time, he focused his musical interest into two self published magazines. First was CLOT Magazine, covering the burgeoning heavy side of metal along the Colorado “Front Range.” Next was Colorado Music Magazine in the early 90s. CMM covered a wider overview of the local and national music that the Denver area had to offer.

After relocating to Wisconsin in 94, Andrew opened Elves Palace (www.elvespalace.com) in Stoughton and has owned and operated the store ever since. Elves Palace is an “Alternative General Store,” carrying everything from posters, incense, oils, t-shirts and skate supplies to metaphysical books, swords, jewelry, hair dye, bulk herbs, rolling papers statues, and much more.

Andrew started writing for Maximum Ink in 2000 and will continue to bring you more wild and entertaining stories about all kinds of music and musicians.

Jason, aka: “Savage,” is a self-proclaimed metal head from Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He has spent his entire life here except for a three year stint in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Colorado as a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Specialist. Since he first interviewed a friend’s band in high school, it has been his dream to write about music.

He pens CD, demo and concert reviews and interviews bands for several metal/hard rock e-zines including Metal Judgment, Blistering, KNAC, Rough Edge and Electric Basement.

Jason also is a regional scout for RoadRunner records and helps out with promotions for JM Presents and Max Ink distribution. Jason has decided to go back to school and is pursuing a BA in communications with an emphasis in PR and journalism at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. When he “grows up,” he hopes to either write for a magazine that actually pays money or to work in the music industry in some capacity such as PR, booking, management, promotions or A&R.

If he wins the lottery, he plans to start his own record label and sign all the talented bands that get passed over by the labels that think they know what WE want to hear!
