RECYCLED FUTURE
From Tomorrow
Recycled Future Music
www.recycledfuture.com

Formed in 1997, this organ-driven trio plays an infectious fusion of funk, jazz, and rock. The group calls Milwaukee home and play throughout the Midwest. Performing a blend of originals and covers by groups like Taj Mahal, and Stanley Turentine, Recycled Future are not afraid to let go and jam. The band consists of Todd Richards on bass, Erik Radloff on drums, and David Wake on Hammond organ. While the trio brings to mind Jimmy Smith or Medeski, Martin, and Wood, their feel and sound are definitely original. The gritty, spitting sound of the Hammond is always a crowd pleaser, and while this group is great on CD, one would imagine that the live show must really swing.                           Jeff Muendel
