Speed-Metal Giants Megadeth, have launched a Mustaine written, co-produced rebellious new album "The World Needs A Hero."  Set to be released May 15th, the band is on a new  label; Sanctuary Records.

The rumbling engines of Megadeth underwent a total overhaul with new members, new management, new label and even a new road crew. Starting fresh with drummer Jimmy DeGrasso and new guitarist Al Pitrelli, Megadeth's goal was to be uninfluenced by outside forces. This composition has no shortage of the trademark Dave Mustaine razor-blade riffs, growling sarcasm, and pessimistic lyrics that Megadeth Fans desire "We're going back to our roots" quotes Mustaine.

Keeping with their philosophy of cynicism and recovering from the last album "Risk", "The World Needs a Hero" is geared toward the fan's taste, without the pressure of a demanding, controlling record company.

A video on VH-1 features the catchy tune 'Moto Psycho' and has already gained the attention of radio stations by being the #1 most-added track at active rock radio in the United States its first week of release.

Good old "hear no, speak no, see know…" Vic is back on the album cover. A sign of things to come!
